Clinton on Hunting

Clinton: My Dad Taught Me How To Shoot
By Eric Kleefeld - April 12, 2008, 10:45PM

"You know, my dad took me out behind the cottage that my grandfather built on a little lake called Lake Winola outside of Scranton and taught be how to shoot when I was a little girl," said Clinton.

People enjoy hunting and shooting because it's an important part of who they are. Not because they are bitter."

She later added, however, that she is not herself an expert with firearms: "As I told you, my dad taught me how to shoot behind our cottage. I have gone hunting. I am not a hunter. But I have gone hunting."

It seems Hilary likes to bet on horse racing too. She sent her daughter to bet on the "lone filly" in the race. You know, the one that died.

And the punch line is.......? Every candidate has catered to hunters. And it is understandable depending on the area of the country that children are exposed to guns and hunting. The point that needs to be made is whether she does it now of her own free will, not what her father made her do.

There was also a quote on the L.A. Times site a month or two ago about Hillary Clinton going duck hunting.

Not to mention that if she gets elected all that bootlicking and ignoring of City issues will have paid off big time for Antonio Villaraigosa. I doubt anyone here wants to see him rise any further in political life.

I have yet to see Obama put on camos and carry a nice big gun in front of the press in order to to curry favor with people who think shooting animals is a sport.

I'd much rather see a candidate try to bowl than chug boilermakers and talk lovingly of hunting. That's just sickening and immoral.

Clinton is trying to play both sides of the hunting issue for votes.

    Horse racing = Death

It happens more and more because they are raced too young.
