THE TOTAL MASON CASE

Many have asked me for an overview of the Mason case. I provided such for a long time. But the inquiries keep coming. I now refer everyone to my blog which may have 80 or more entries about the Mason case.

Below are some of the key links to read.

The first several are just the initial posts about Mason and the raid and you need to start here to get a feel for the case. Later on, more and more information began to come out, such as Mason’s private vet before the raid was Cynthia Hockman, who apparently turned Mason in, because she became a Boks’ employee 2-3 weeks after the bust. Also, Ron was not provided the required post seizure hearing about the whereabouts of his cats. Later it was disclosed that the whole bust may have been related to an upcoming contract with Animal Planet to film the Animal Cruelty Task Force in action—the same ones that raided Mason, which produced the videotape we think was an audition tape. Then too, all the Mason evidence was “lost,” as the cover up began.

One of the key pieces of evidence in this case is the Video shot by City TV35 which shows the kind of person Mason is even when in handcuffs—a gentleman—vs. the uniformed “thugs” and Lt. Ortega’s and Social Worker’s psychobabble.

This a lie, Ed! You don't care who you smear or hurt. You merely make insinuations without any proof. This is why your blog reeks of yellow journalism.

There are some occurrences in LA that are coincidental, especially when pseudo-hoarders use reasonable, decent, low-cost veterinarians.

When people tell you to Get A Life, I think you ought to take those words to heart.

  3. Of course it is not a lie.

Yellow journalism may apply, but geez, there is abundant proof of her involvement.

Take a look, not just here, but all the other posts.

OMG! I thought you finally got over Mason, Ed. The therapy sessions aren't working?

  5. Oh yes, I got over it a long time ago, but it appears that this case is beginning to hit the mainstream media as far away as Europe. I have received numerous inquiries about the case, and those who ask wany the whole case wrapped up and tied. They don't want to taek the time to do the research.

I got tired of writing long winded summaries and therefore wrote this post to save them time and to easily get an overview.

There is a lot more about this story you will be hearing about soon.

You know what, the person who keeps accusing Ed of having issues is clearly the one with the problem.

To use your own parlance, "Dude," you are not fooling anyone. It's clear now, just as it was in the thick of the Mason debacle, that you have something to hide, and you think accusing others of having mental problems, and/or lying is the way to muddy the waters. But dude, any competent mental health professional, or even the low-grade variety employed by this city would be able to tell you the meaning of the word "projection."

An injustice is an injustice, no matter how long ago it occurred - and what happened to Ron Mason was quite recent, and has still not been been resolved in any kind of just way.

"Dr." Cynthia Hockman's staff warned Ron something was coming, and that he needed to be careful. "Dr." Cynthia Hockman refused to give Ron his old vet records to prove that he had in fact been caring for these stray cats all along. "Dr." Cynthia Hockman then proceeded to go to work for the people who benefited from her obfuscation of Ron and her witholding of his records.

In government one is supposed to avoid even the appearance of impropriety. This doesn't just have a whiff of impropriety, staging, and dishonesty - it reeks to high heaven of corruption, both from Boks and LAAS and the not-so-good "Dr." Hockman.

The evidence supports Ron and does not support anybody else. The unprofessional, unethical conduct of every City agency (with the exception of the inspector who, when he finally DID see Ron's house, said Ron violated NO codes) is on record, on videotape, and available on YouTube.

You aren't fooling anybody. All you're doing is creating an electronic paper trail that's going to lead back to you, and very likely your city-owned computer.

Give it up. You're not fooling ANYONE.

Although Ed and I have our differences, I would be interested in the ending of this story. I followed it on this blog and want to know how it turns out. Is there a lawsuit filed or a settlement in the works? It's not over, is it?

  11. It is not over. The deadline is fast approaching on the 1 year deadline for filing a lawsuit, but other things are going on media wise.

Sometimes I (Ed M.) receive comments about the Nason case by email and not through the comment box of this blog.

Often I will edit it, hide the sender and post as anonymous.

However, the default for my posting is my own name.

The below comment was actually from someone I know but I will post as anonymous:

I'm really, really having trouble controlling my anger when reading the Mason posts in seriatim.

I will get a grip on my anger soon as it won't produce anything useful when

I'm enraged at this level. I'm starting to think that this may be so egregious that the FBI may be the right ones to get involved.

This is lawmen (and women) running amok with the specific intent to frame someone for a crime that they did not commit.

It's not unlike what happened to the Branch Davidians at Waco. We should learn from the horror experienced by Martin Niemoeller in his famous words; "First they came for the Communists, but I was not a Communist -so I said nothing. Then they came for the Social Democrats, but I was not a Social Democrat - so I did nothing. then they came for the trade unionists, but I was not a trade unionist. And then they came for the Jews, but I was not a Jew - so I did little. Then when they came for me, there was no one left who could stand up for me."

We could substitute words like "cat hoarder" and "foster caregiver" and "cat rescue person" for some of the terms above.

We need to organize a group with a mission something like "Feline Caregivers' Protective League" or we may end up being chewed up in the gears of the Bok mechanism.

Reading Boks' propaganda all throughout your posts makes him sound as genuine as the famous words posted on the gates of Nazi Concentration Camps which stated "Arbeit macht Frei".

Boks so-called compassionate killing is a shame to anything Dr. Kevorkian had in mind. Mr. Boks needs to be internationally shamed for his actions.

    Ed,

It might help you to keep your anger in check if you realize that:

    A. This person doesn't mean a thing they say, they are just trying to muddy the waters, make it all seem like your "interpretation" of the Mason case, rather than the facts, supported not only by various witnesses, but by the evidence and, humorously enough, by the media THEY brought in. Most damning piece of evidence by far? The video the ACTF arranged to have shot. They sit there, happily and obliviously slandering Ron, bringing in incompetents like that mental health hack to diagnose a guy he's never met, and broadcasting Ron's name for all the world to see without any kind of legal disclaimer that he is in fact innocent until proven guilty. Then, for Christ's sake, they HIRED HIS VET. The only thing they are more than evil is stupid -- and thank God for that. Thank God at least Don Cocek could smell the reek off this non-case, although alas not soon enough to prevent these morons from involving several City agencies in their defamation of character, etc. etc.

and B. All this loser has left is the hope of trying to make you mad.

Don't bite on his bait. He's a loser, and all he's got is ad hominem attacks, which is the sure sign of a bankrupt intellect -- and no legitimate case.

    Sucks to be him...
