If that is the total number of animals in their entire shelter system, then why is there so much drug ordering, storage and use?! And why a budget of over $20 million dollars?! There are a number of shelters and sanctuaries around that have 2-5 times as many animals on any given day, running on a fraction of that budget!

Also, the rendering piles at D & D Rendering are easily photographed and in comparing photographs day after day, the piles of bodies sit there and rot, to the point where they just keep adding more bodies to the pile. If there was such a heavy volume, even just from L.C. Animal Control, besides from other sources, there would be no piles of dead rotting bodies because as fast as they come in, they’d be going on the conveyer belt. But that is not the case, so the one company that gets dead bodies aren’t getting as many as everyone thinks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25037502.post-63848302901194930712008-07-15T08:29:00.001-07:002008-07-15T08:29:00.001-07:00Not to mention - Mayeda makes approximately 192K o...Not to mention - Mayeda makes approximately 192K of our money with perks and she's too stupid to realize that emptying your trash doesn't eliminate the email?

Hard to believe she's not working in the White House.

At any rate, I think this is certainly something we should all shrea with our local Supervisor's office - today!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25037502.post-45448962732733495242008-07-15T08:29:00.000-07:002008-07-15T08:29:00.000-07:00So one of those five people saved the email and ga...So one of those five people saved the email and gave it to an outsider? How did the other blogger get ahold of it? Also, how did the blogger get a hold of security video camera footage from the shelter? Info act requests? I'm amazed county turned them over. City doesn't turn over info act request material.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25037502.post-49944849670723431772008-07-14T22:26:00.000-07:002008-07-14T22:26:00.000-07:00It's redundant to use LAAS and the word corrupt in...It's redundant to use LAAS and the word corrupt in the same sentence. They are one in the same. I've seen in first hand from behind shelter doors to the front lines where reports are falsified and animal evidence is destroyed. What happened at Pierce College is a perfect example of that. You people know who you are and you know what you've done. Thanks to this blog, the rest of the world now knows it too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
