The Supreme court just screwed America today by lifting all campaign restrictions from corporations. They can now directly mount attack or support campaigns for politicians or issues. This is the end of politics as we know it.
Interviewees today admit not much can be done legislatively to reign in the corporation because of the way the decision was worded. Obama may be the last president not elected by the corporation. Ditto the Senate over the next 10 years, and the House over the next 6 years.
There goes Wall Street reform, Healthcare reform, Cap and Trade; its all gone. Some little stuff may pass, but it would be reversed over the next dozen years. Forget freedom of the Internet; there is little freedom of the Internet in China now. Forget the FTC, FAA, CIA, FBI, the courts; all will be run by people appointed by an industrialist president, Senate and House.
This is literally the time we have to plan a revolution or get the hell out of the country.

All of this is why it's time to take a serious look at third party candidates and vote for the best ones. They are the only ones not owned lock stock and barrel by the corporations who fund them. If we elect third party candidates to every office from dog catcher to President we will see a different America right away. I even wish we could draft people who sleep under bridges to run for office. Nobody owns them and they would generally try to find solutions which would actually help our country at large. We need laws and policies which help both folks who fly their own private jets as well as those who sleep under bridges. Why do Presidents need to be lawyers, senators or generals? Why can't they be artists, doctors or scientists?
Excellent style!
