Excellent Story From a Volunteer at Tompkins County About Its Transition to No Kill Under Winograd

The story is too long to post here, but it is heart-rendering and should be read, especially by those who have axes to grind toward Winograd.

This article is so well written and aptly depicts the ongoing, sorry situation taking place in Los Angeles' city and county shelters, from the volunteerism, to the conditions of the kennels, to the number of adoptable animals killed daily for space, to management that has neither control over employees (especially those who don't do the work they are paid to do) nor the inspiration to bring on needed changes in the system, etc.

This so-called progressive city, L.A., appears to remain stagnant when it comes to helping the homeless animals. doG help them.
